Cajun Rib-Eye Rub

Cajun seasoning is usually a little spicy, but has a ton of different flavors going on. This recipe is for those who  would like to try some cajun flavors without too much heat! The Brown Sugar is optional, and will help to tame the heat just a little bit.

  • 1 Tablespoon of Garlic Powder
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons of freshly cracked pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon of Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (optional)

Rub your Rib-Eye down about 5 minutes before putting it onto the Grill. Cook the steak until Medium rare, and enjoy! If you’re worried about too much heat, make sure you eat your steak with a glass of milk! You should not need any sort of sauce on this steak. Topping with Grilled onions would be an awesome way to finish it off. ¬†Let me know what you think of this recipe after you try it out! The rub can also be used as an awesome chicken rub!
